This issue is about a Chinese team's problems with their Joint Venture partners, who are German. The Chinese feel that the Germans do not fully trust them. They believe that all the key responsibilities are kept for the Germans and they only get simple roles and tasks to the Chinese team. However, when there is a problem or emergency the German managers are difficult to locate -- particularly at the weekend! This means that the Chinese can't get an answer to their questions quickly, so they miss deadlines but then the Germans mangers complain about the missed deadlines! They feel that they can't win either way!
